TAoP - Vertical and horizontal frames

This exercise was an interesting one as it seems to have become second nature in subconsciously choosing whether a scene should be shot vertically or horizontally and I no longer pay much attention to it, just rely on my intuition.
As the course notes predicted, when shooting something you might ordinarily shoot horizontally vertically the weight of the photo feels better lower down. As demonstrated in the very first shot.

In the same way that when shooting something horizontally where you might ordinarily shoot it vertically, the weight of the photo feels better at either side, but very rarely centrally.

I tried to shoot a selection of scenes that were obviously ‘vertical shots’ and obviously ‘horizontal shots’ .

I decided to do this exercise using 3 Roman churches. I felt that this would allow me to keep a theme but also allow for enough diversity.
